The 'Glen Bakery is a four bedroom self-contained shop-house in the centre of Rutherglen. It caters for group accommodation. Rooms are not let separately. Ideal for weddings, catch ups or families. The main house was built in the 1920s and is solid brick with some art deco features, ornate plaster, polished Murray pine doors and high ceilings. The house was a shop and dwelling fronting the main street and was the town's bakery until the 1960s. The bakery building is immediately to the rear (now converted to two bathroom facilities). The baker's oven, including the original cast iron doors, remains intact.
